Criminal Law Research & Review is organizing an awareness session on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Laws & Regulations, for the Indian Students in Higher Education. The session will cover the UGC POSH Regulations, 2015 (accessible here) in detail. The session will be a part of the recently launched CrLRR Law School POSH Project. About the Guest Speaker

Ms Chethana V is a practising lawyer and appears before family courts, trial courts, and the Madras High Court. She deals with matters relating to domestic and other gender-based violence, sexual abuse, and gender identity issues, among others. She has been chosen as a South Asia Women Foundation India litigation fellow for the year 2021-22 where she will be assisting women and transpeople in the trial courts of Tamil Nadu, and will also be providing legal advice and pre-litigation strategy.

UG & PG Students enrolled in Indian Institutes are invited to attend the session. Since it is a part of the Law School POSH Project, we encourage law students, in particular, to join us.
